lizzie going no humanity. idk if it would be more satisfying if it had happened before her character development, or after some more emotional development actually. like maybe goth josies merge plans had lizzie going vamp sooner to avoid the merge being possible (presumably). hope its like whatever. ive seen ur family. lizzies got like real solid ground for why shed not wanna feel shit properly. she grew on me eventually yea i dont wanna see her suffer but i want a fun and interesting show. maybe the love confession shit with mg would have gone differently. maybe HE died and she went off the rails and then HE could have been brought back tvd style near the end of a season. bc that just had no appeal with landon and hope. like yea theres nothing rly wrong with landon but hes just a guy. and this time around im painfully aware of just how young these kids even are unlike tvd, maybe its bc theyre always in school and they look significantly younger than the tvd cast ever did. which is a good thing but makes it hard to be on board with the undying love confessions of some 17 year olds whove known eachother for less time than ive had soup packets in the cupboard
i was at least somewhat emotionally invested in mg and lizzie working out in the end
wish maybe they done some more with kalebs weird edgy persona from the start of the show. i like kabel a lot mroe than most of the characters but that leaves with the. ok so what was up with the start of the show then. encouraging mg to go ham. maybe mg did go ham n started murdering and they had to kill him THEN lizzie could be like "wow. brb gonna go commit vampire crimes on everyone"
anyway idk somethings missing. guess ill write a fanfic in my head to fix that
