I also have checklists for daily tasks (which are both work related like grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning, but also things like new series dropped that I want to watch or a new podcast episode) and then I have a daily tracker for things like making my bed, doing dishes, getting enough sleep, doing stuff that help me with my projects (I'm doing a project pan, so all the things I'm emptying, I'm giving myself a bonus point through the tracker if I do something to help use up those things))
Though I see it more as a "look, you achieved this much" rather than a "you have to do this and that"
like my schedule while planned out months in advance is still super flexible and I can cater to my day like that. same with the tracker, I don't have to do those things, but it helps me see how consistent I am wih routines.
though I also went the way of gamifying it for the extra kick and then my rewards are things I usually would spend money on willy nilly and now I have to earn it - which also means I spend less money on stupid and needless shit, it has really become a win win for me
but if it starts to feel like a chore you have to battle through, then of course these things won't help in the least. I seriously think not everyone is made for enjoying working through completely planned out and specified tasks like that
It gives me such bulletjournal vibes u know and idk im more of a one book for everything person.
yeah, it really does
