Customers who still looks around the store 15 min after closing time even tho you reminded them it's closed and if ppl wants something they need to go to checkout....
and it's a long queue and 20 min after closing time at that point and asks to get like 4 things wrapped seperatly.
When I finally got ppl out and was about to shut the doors... Some lady ran and went IN and demanded to check status on her ordered books. I try politely to explain there's no such way to see how far their package is for us who workes at the bookstore, however we know orders usually comes in 5-7 days after ordering, and we'll send textmessage to her when it arrives.
She's mad as hell and wants me to call the mail services - and when I asked when she ordered the books she told me ''yesterday''. Like... I would understand why she's mad if she waited 1-2 weeks, but I can't do anything about it other than send message to her when it arrived and ready for pick up.
At that point that I just said if she got any other questions she's welcome to come back when it's opening hours. She wasn't happy about that but at that point it's almost 30 min after closing time.
I feel like service type jobs rlly opens your eyes how rude and sometimes dumb ppl can be. But thankfully most days ppl are decent and sweet and I have good time.
Do you deal with annoying ppl or customers at work? any stories to share?
