oh everything I'm associated with gets this kind of treatment, I'm used to it and I was ready for it
the kids were absolutely hilarious when I told them though, it's all gonna be fine. I'm just wore out from it. so very exhausted.

protested on the venues private property
insisted it was public property because it was outside
fought and argued loudly and made a scene until the owner threatened to call the cops (which she never does but this was outta hand)
then when we had our ACTUAL drag bingo a few days later, an adjacent business called the local police to warn them that these religious kooks would be back, and so the cops kept popping in all night (kindly, harmlessly) to just be a presence that would hopefully deter them from harassing us more
but of course that made the poor queer college kids inside uncomfortable because cops where they're from are probably much more threatening
but its like

this kind of evangelism is basically a death cult - they're fucking excited to die in the rapture and I 100% believe these are the kind of folks who would commit murder in the name of jesus christ
