right now im reading "the way through the woods - of mushrooms and mourning" by long litt woon. i need to be in a very specific headspace (able to think about mushroom and sorrow at the same time), so ive taken some breaks from it n finished other books in the mean time.
i finished "educated" by tara westover on sunday. good book but yikes, poor girl.
either "all is quiet on the western front" by remarque, "less" by andrew sean greer or "ghost heart" by cecilia samartin. the latter is very outside of what i normally read

Half dnf'ed We Were Liars by E. Lockhart (I like the book, just couldn't get into the groove of reading it)
And taking my time reading Sappho. Stung with Love: Poems and Fragments Translated and with an introduction and notes by Aaron Poochigan, and foreword by Carol Ann Duff
I just finished  Dasiey Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Planing on maybe rereading The Secret History by Donna Tartt

mixed feelings tbh, as i saw the ghibli film first so i'm obviously biased towards it. they're really different, at first i really disliked the characters in the book but most of them grew on me towards the end. it's not a bad book at all though
now i need to find the two sequels because i wanna see what's going on there

Right now Im reading The Believing Brian by Michael Shermer (I think??) And Nick Offerman's newest book.

I finished Talking to Strangers (not recommended) yesterday as an audiobook and When the body says No (not recommended either) as a book Sunday.

Tomorrow I'll start listening to The school of good mothers, and I'll hopefully be finished with the ones I'm currently reading before the weekend so I can read Ariadne and Dawnshard.
