Hair bleach?
Private
Popstar

Probably a bad idea for me to bleach my hair cus I will have very bad banding I think and I can't color over it with permanent color obv to fix thecolor if it looks bad.

But is 40 developer too much, is 30 better or what. If its to much, can I just mix it with conditioner or smth?

20 is too much for the scalp, def go lower , much lower

Also, how do I get my entire head fr, w color I can just smoosh it around and it will cover everything, with bleach it does not work, mby if I make it a bleach bath so its easier mby, but idk I need it to be strong also I guess, black box dye and shit hodes under my hair I think bah,,,,

I don't trust anyone in my family or friends to make sure its normal in the back either lol

Do the scalp after lenghts since the scalp will devolp much faster - and we're trying to avoid damaging it too much lol.
Do sections.

Most salons use 20 or less. So I'd say start with that. You can also give it another round of bleach after a weeks rest.

Yes I know, sections tho I cry, I susually do it in 4 sections, because if I do more my hair gets stuck everywhere in the hair pins or hair ties or whatever and then I just bahhhhh. Can't use the brush either like it doesn't work idk, im too sloppy a person

i dont like the stress of it so i deliberately go in to do things in two rounds

pre section everything well so u dont have to waste time with that in the middle of doing it. like as many sections as u can honestly. its a pain to prep but so helpful but they have to be smooth bc if they tangle when u take them down then ur back to square one. i work top to bottom so the top (most visible layer) gets properly bleached and then i work bottom layer up for the second round to even it out and hit anything that didnt bleach evenly the first time around (thus is just life when being a hair dyer)

but like most importantly is using a shit tonne of bleach, its too dry to smush around like dye so it rly will only bleach where u actually put it. so use way more than u instinctively think u will need

its way less stress if ur going to dye it afterwards bc then u can just stop when u know the dye is going to cover whatever is on ur head, but if ur not then. prepare for a long painful process

also many mirrors and do it during daytime or in an extremely well lit room bc its so easy to miss a spot in dim lighting

I can not wait a week, I have to fix it fast, cus its gonna look very shit I feel like but. Isn't it 20 or less for hair color? While bleack u need 30-40 if ur hair is dark. Thats just me googling, but apparantly 20 is used to life 1-3 levels but I need more than that I think u

Thanksss , what abt the developer tho, but anyways yeah I just bleh, the thought of having to find spots I missed and get the afterwards is a pain in my butt. Is it possible to put bleach all over my hair first, and then last step mix out the rest of the bleach a bit with conditioner/shampoo (?) And try to smoosh that around on my scalp, just to be extra sure its everywhere or

i have no idea abt developer tbh im a sinner and always use the same brand of box bleach instead of experimenting at this point bc its never gone wrong so far n i know how that one behaves on my hair slkfhjslfsf, ive never had to bleach out black box dye either (or i have, but like 2 years after the fact so it was basically light brown at that point and only ha some minor patching)

sometimes if it gets a bit too stiff ill spritz some water on my head and give it smoothing over so thats my extent of experience there, it works fine to spread it out a bit but i much prefer to just use a giant amount from the get go. also stops more of it from drying in the air bc theres a bottom layer to it

Hm yes smart. I've used box bleach before but I would have to buy like 3 packs to get enough bleach to bleach it once I think, so its less expensive if I just buy the powder thing and developer (idk lol), last time I used box bleach tho I legit forgot to put the bleach powder in it lol?? So it was super runny like water almost, it still worked enough for how I wanted it, but my hair turned super crispy, I guess theres some moustruizing thing in the powder mby. Its not crispy anymore tho, my hair just feels normal at this point even if its bleached on the ends at least before, and dyed purple a thousand times, black over that and dark blue a thousand times, so I think the damage from bleaching it now will be manageable hopefully. I do pike crispy hair tho, just not when its wet, feels disgusting
