but I also am now medicated for my ADHD and amphetamines have this cool side effect of helping with allergies, so hopefully I'll be okay in the end.

Oh okay. Have you considered immuno therapy? It worked well the first time for me and I'm doing a second one like 16 years after the first one.

I mean its probably an option. I am with different, much more competent doctors than I was back when I first moved here and got my medication.

i also just got a doctor telling me that i might have mild autism along with the severe adhd

here ill copypaste what i said in startalk:

autistic things i dont think i do that i thought were necesssary for being autistic:
selective mutism
eye contact issues
issues maintaining friendships and shyness and social anxiety
masking or like putting up a front to seem more normal
delayed development (but the doctor said that aspbergers types often have precocious speech development which i did)
not like understanding metaphor and taking things literally

things i do for sure that are super autistic:
hyperfixations special interests -hoarding collections related to special interests
sensory overload and sensory issues
picky eating to the extreme
not realizing the vibe in the room until a bit too late and literally thinking im friends with someone who hates me actually lmfao 
fuckin huge emotional meltdowns at the end of a long day
adherence to routine (for example i cannot ride the train without headphones i just cant ill be late if i cant find my headphones)

so anyway the doctor wants me to try a medicine thats for autistic people since none of the medicine for adhd ive tried has done anything for me

and im STILL on fucking venlafaxine since 2007 and not depressed anymore. im thinking i should come off this shit before trying anything else. but she (dr) wants to make sure my like emotional outbursts are under control before taking me off an antidepressant

ugh i say that but antidepressants LITTERALLY helped save me from literally unaliving myself fifteen years ago but medicine is a scam and neurodivergent people shouldnt have to medicate themselves to fit into society

I mean when I got my ADHD diagnosis it was because I was misdiagnosed bipolar and when I got a second opinion they said that mild bipolar and severe ADHD are very very similar in presentation.
