True. I think EA realized in the end that die hard sims fans would buy and play, no matter what, so making useless gamepackages and other stuff rather than from what we saw with sims 3 and 2.  Like the entire supernatural series lol??? They have made 3 gameplay packages for that while previously it was mostly collected into one game pack. Fucking stupid. 

It's really all about the money at this point...a shame.

wasnt sims 4 originally worked on as an online mobile game and later reworked into a "regular" game? which is why it works so weird compared to other games, because its base is completely different. i could be wrong though but so ive heard
