by putting the responsibility on the user,

"In its Terms & Privacy, Pinterest states that it is the user's responsibility to make sure that any images the user posts are not in violation of copyright laws. Pinterest claims no liability for users' pins under Safe Harbor Provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act."

i think if the owner shows proof of ownership they remove the pin from the platform. has happened to several of the ones i've saved and it's always a copyright claim that has been made.

check by which copyright it is protected by, if you have to request use or not.

Social media (and the internet) in large doesn't care about your rights.

There's some exceptions to copyright and similar that fall under fair use rules.

you have that fair use thing, but it's very problematic because the owner of the content you have posted might claim the thing and if you want to fight it it has to involve lawyers and shit and it's expensive so even if you have the law on your side they can just drain you economically until you can't fight it anymore

They'll only sue you if you're trying to profit.

because in theory Pinterest links to the OG source and thus those who have their things accessible
according to pinterest laws you're only allowed to upload to the page itself images you hold the copyright to

no, that falls under fair use and you can use it
it's not illegal to use official press released material to add to your review of the product
no law will ever forbid that unless it's in a restricted regime that censors free speech
