I used to understand it quite well ages ago when I was watching a lot of bavarian theatre programs on television (because I was edgy like that) but ever since I'm not actively watching that I don't understand it that well anymore (it's very much like having very basic skills in a language and getting what someone says out of context and not because you understand them)

I was there with my dad when I was 18 because we wanted to see the agriculture exhibition, and this italian guy tried to kiss me when we had lunch in one of the tents. He was so fucking drunk and it was only 11am.
Oh and there was a guy who had diarrhea in his Lederhosen lying around. Fun times.


I mostly stick to the smaller festivals because they are usually nicer and less expensive.

I don't understand Sächsich and whatever fresh hell they speak in northern germany. It's hard to understand my aunt who lives on the coast.

and yeah the smaller ones are better, there's a festival rn in Slovakia as well that I went to due to my friends and partner and MAN
smaller villages n towns that take part in those celebrations almost always have it better lol
