You can trial them where the events show up to see who you like the best. I don't rly plan much. I just play w the characters I like and collect all the dendro ones. Razor is my fave tho but he also was my first after the Traveller

I feel like when u start u probably want a healer and someone who attack well so you can progress the story esier

traveller and barbara are my two main focus characters rn. i kept my traveller anemo not geo. but i know barbara is better for starting and not that strong later on

I'm so salty that I lost my 50/50 to Diluc tho, I have him at c3 now and hate using him ahahhh,,, I wanted Nilou so bad but used all of my saved up wishes for her without getting her and now I gotta start saving again for Nahida bc I want her so bad too

Barbara is there to heal ur fighters tbh
I use her a lot so I don't have to cook food

He gets a lot better on later levels! His skills are literally ALWAYS up so you can just spam damage and slight crowd control. I don't even have very good artifacts for him but I had his hyperbloom (activated them with lvl90 Beidou, no clue if that affects it jskfd) do 20k damage per dendro seed at lvl70
If you want I could also help you gather mats for him!

And Nahida is so adorable omg, her kit seems so unique and fun and don't even get me started on the visualss
