so i work at a restaurant and i had a horrible day yesterday. im still kinda newish as i haven’t worked many days but i’ve been there for a month now i think. i messed up a customer’s order and i told them it was okay, i wont charge for that bc i messed up and i left the food at their table. i then told my coworkers about it and they were like “but they ate it right?” and at that moment i knew i f*cked up lmao. yes they ate it so they needed to be charged for it. i think the lady got mad because they were refusing to give her a refund bc she ate the food. i then got yelled at by the cook who by the way is always unnecessarily rude to me and constantly yells at me for other unimportant things. she basically called me stupid and said i had no common sense :-) and that they couldn’t be handing out free money/food blah blah. i wanted to dIEEEE then and there 
and then the cooks kept talking about how badly i messed up. it made me feel horrible and i wanna quit now lol

they said i should’ve taken the order back and have them re do the correct one 
which was 10 dollars cheaper 
i would be mad as a customer if i got charged for something i didn’t order but ughhh i wish i would’ve told them since the very beginning i messed up idk what i was thinking

yes it’s the first time. i mis clicked on the computer and put 15 instead of 5 (chicken wings) 
They got superangry with you about 10 chicken wings???? I’m sorry but they don’t cost the kitchen that much.

i’ve worked in a different restaurant before and yeah idk why they’re always in a bad mood lmao 
i dont like interacting with them 
yeah i now know to take wrong orders back instead of leaving them at the table. maybe it should’ve been common sense like she said, i just didn’t think

It’s chicken wings, how in hell can everyone be so mad about that. You’re also still kinda new so god damn can they chill? You’ve learned your lesson, it doesn’t help with them being annoyed with you
