1 week ago insurance was like "lol no you need a therapist note also a bunch of other documents" even tho she's submitted these before months ago. also fucking dumb that a therapist needs to provide a note when she's been transitioning for 8 years. well she gave them what they asked for all updated and they ignored it, then hospital cancelled surgery when it was scheduled for tomorrow. this hospital is her only option and it's booked out again for like a year
no shot we could pay for this out of pocket bc being done in an OR is already like 100k apparently. american healthcare is a joke. i feel so bad i want to help but i can't do anything and it SUCKS
