pugs are an ancient breed and arent automatically unhealthy for being brachy. lots of backyard bred pugs have respitory health issues but there are many healthy pugs and ethical breeders working to make breed healthier overall

chihuahuas are one of the most abused and neglected breeds sad theyre very common in hoarding scenarios in my country. but theyre one of my fave breeds to work w even the spicy ones. earning a spicy chis trust is so great

From my experience here most pugs I met and got to take care of when I did volunteer work in the pet ER in my boarding school, had respiratory issues left and right among other shit, and ye chihuahuas are fiesty
but when properly brought up can be sweet
never met a good example though so sad
I love small dogs but guess this is why I switched from the pet er to normal er volunteer, saddened me seeing pets being not taken care of properly or brought up poorly

Malamutes are absolutely beautiful to look at and I've never been more impressed by a dog breed before.

I'm personally glad that pit bulls are banned where I live as well, but it's honestly more due to experience with inexperienced owners getting a breed like a husky, rottweiler or gsd and then not giving them the care they need, which makes them very dangerous, and I just know some of these people would've chosen a pit if possible.
