1. How do you interpret this sentence correctly?
2. And is the ? was or were

Anna & Maxs little sister ? at a baseball game

a) Anna, Max and his sister watched a baseball game (3 people)
b) Anna and the sister of Max watched a baseball game (2 people)

why would it ever be 3 people

its either (anna and max)'s sister (1 person) or anna and (max's sister) (2 people)

max is not there no matter what

and youd use  the was/were to indicate which one it is

Agreed.

I would honestly also say it's Anna and Max's little sister only in this sentence when interpreting, because Max doesn't matter for the context of the sentence here if it was both Anna and their sister going (then the sentence would make more sense as "Anna and her sister .." )

But it could be both Anna and her sister going of course, and the sentence would still make sense.

If you think it's only the little sister it's was
If it's both Anna and her sister then it's were.

So from what I've written I would say was

Were for 2 or more people? Am i understanding that right?

Cuteeee , maybe english isn't my first language? Maybe I have a learning disability?
Either way, comments like these are seriously sucky and rude.

Anna and the sister of Max (Or Max's sister) were at a baseball game.

IS this correct gramatically?
