Has anyone ever sold stuff on Etsy? I wanna start but I have no idea what to do, like how will I accept and send orders, will I pay for shipping or the customer, how will I get the money? So many questions!!

Depends, are you gonna produce and send the items from home, or something like a POD business? Starting a POD store myself, nowhere near an expert on Etsy in general, but I know a bit!!

i've only been a customer, i'm not sure if there's an option for the seller to pay the shipping but generally the customer pays. i used paypal to pay which would mean that u need at least a paypal account (u can transfer the money to ur bank account if u connect it)

Maybe there are some tutorials on YouTube?
I have heard some not so great things about etsy though so I would really do my research before selling there.
Depending on the laws in your country you probably have to pay taxes if you sell things for more than a certain amount of money on a regular basis.

Not sure what a POD business is but I'll be making and selling jewelry and clothes (hopefully)

Yeah I was planning on making a PayPal account before starting this because I've heard it makes money transfers so much easier

you yourself set up a price for shipping so you need to do your own research on how much shipping will cost to different parts of the world for you and manually put that in the listing if you don’t want to include it in the price and thusly make the the product more expensive I guess (though idk what’s more beneficial for tax purposes)

I’m pretty sure Etsy has all the info on their site if you look into it, I don’t remember looking at external sources when I sold stuff on etsy

I could do it at age 17 lol
and if you’re just starting out you probably don’t have to think that much about taxes anyways, cause you’re not going to get in trouble for like a 10 euro profit a month or whatever anyways
