Job environments

I have a serious question. (now that everyone is asleep)

So, from my friends and family's experiences, it seems like job environments just suck. Like, that is the default. Real, full time jobs just come w/ sucky environment or coworkers. Like I've had two job and i can't really consider them real jobs cause i'm like, the work envi is good so obviously it's not a real adult job.

Is this how it is? Why? This is not ok? Like people should not have to be miserable or unemployed?!?

Genuinely don't think that's a "That's just how it is" type of thing, all of the jobs I've had, I've made friends with everyone and looked forward to going to work with my co-workers.

If there are other people, there will be drama.

hungover: glad to hear someone has had a good experience. Not sure if I know anyone who can say the same.

Kieren: that is a truth

idk i guess it's just hard cause so many of my close friends and family have had overwhelmingly bad experiences with employment and I can't help them, as well as worrying about soon being graduated and having full time jobs...

Depends on the place I assume. I've had various jobs, nice environments.
I think you should be careful with assuming every job sucks and the coworkers as well, If you go in with that mindset it will most likely be a bad experience.

If anyone is that miserable about their work, I personally think you should reconsider what you're doing is really what you want to do the majority of your adult life.

The office I’m at currently has very high stress levels so in that sense I guess it’s a sucky environment, but it has very friendly coworkers and such, I think it depends a bit on the actual place and also just how much you tolerate the job to begin with

i know my aunt who has jumped around at a lot of different day cares hate some of the because the other people but like other places etc

i feel like it’s a case of like, a lot of jobs sucks, especially if you’re stuck in like retail or warehouses and such where higher ups consider you disposable?? But if it’s a job you plan on sticking with and you absolutely hate it, there might be better places out there hmhmhm

That being said I also think it depends on you as a peraon

i genuinely think I’d be miserable working full time the rest of my life no matter the work place lol

My mum loves her job environment. She works for a school though, so government employment, which is different to private employment because she basically can't be fired so it's mostly chill.

I kinda liked working in the hostel but there was the usual drama going on, bullying, too much work too little time, the chef and the sous chef fighting each time their shifts overlapped (like terrible fighting not just the usual stuff),...

It was intense, fully grown adults bullying each other. I felt like the adult in this situation tbh because I was busy trying to not get pulled into one of the conflicts. I mostly managed because social nuance is lost on me anyway and tbh I was too stoned half of the time to give a fuck. I said yes, I understand, sounds soooo bad to everyone and left it at that.
