how do i stop eating so terribly

my a1c levels r 5.2 from “pre-diabetes”
usually it hits by 5.7 but i don't know

i eat to suppress my depressive emotions


any health advices to avoid gluten or sugars?
(going on a health strike for 2-3 months)

i want to live by 420 years of age

think about what kind of cravings that you do have and what you could substitute them
usually when i want something salty i would go for chips, instead u can drink broth ? its filling, warm, satisfying
for sugars u can look into low-or no-sugar candies, theres tons of them out there and work for people with diabetes, same with artificial sweeteners in general, for drinks, candies, etc, so try to substitute high sugar cravings with artificial sweeteners instead

and for gluten you can look into gluten free flour, you can learn to make your own bread and pastries, that way you can control how much sugar (if u decide to use sugar, u can use sugar substitutes like honey or stevia) which will work too

usually i buy lentil bean chips like.. an onion ring replacement & it’s good but the additional flavors are cat-piss bad 

for sweets i’m unsure since fruits & veggies have natural fat/sugars i am unsure. i own a v8 drink to substitute my sweet cravings but stopped drinking it due to being told to stop by my own ma.

i RARELY touch physical fruits so i’ll consider eating a fruit for my diet

for the broth, i usually have my ma make a container full of chicken broth but ffs it’s salty enough
that u’d urinate ur kidneys out
(i’d use the broth as a ramen sub so i don't have to use the season packets which contains a lot of salt)

diabetes does not run in my family, however, the fact that i’m slowly letting food consume me is terrifying

it’s either a food addiction or i eat bad things by my own choice ☹️🦴
