She liked to make jewelry, color, call for elk, tie dye shirts, hug, have tickle fights, play softball, and she adored disney, musicals, anything pink, diet coke, The Beach Boys and animals 

She was one of the sweetest and pure-hearted people I've ever met. She developed dementia young as a consequence of downs syndrome and had brittle type 1 diabetes yet she was still so hopeful and had a genuine love for and deep relationship with Jesus. She told me, "thank you," and "take good care of me" regularly and I really appreciated it. 

I miss her but she's at peace now. Watching her deteriorate as her dementia progressed was heart wrenching but she's no longer suffering. I'm glad I knew her.

Dementia is shitty I don’t wish it on anyone 

it never stole her sweet spirit but she couldn’t do a lot of the things she used to do anymore 

she’s no longer confused and scared of the shower like that’s a good thing

I’m an atheist but she had the purest and most sincere relationship with the lord I had ever seen it was so beautiful, she was a true believer and wanted others to feel and have what she had, so genuine 

And one of the girls I took care of before I transferred noticed I had cried and said, “oh I see you were crying it’s ok I was too” bless 

she’s no longer suffering but there was really nothing like her, that her energy isn’t in the world anymore is so hard
