How did you all "start" setting up your kitchen? Did you buy everything at once?

Yeah this like just get the stuff when u need it

but also the supermarket is like a minute walk away so its very easy for me to get things whenever

I feel like the only things i would suggest getting of the bat is flour, sugar, salt, peber, oil and some kind of butter for cooking. Those I personally use a lot!
