I honestly think it depends on the courses and law disciplines you're doing. I generally enjoy my studies tbh, but it's just such a vast area with a never-ending stream of information, so being good at the job usually means a lot of reading, which sometimes is hard to sit down with.

What law courses have you had?

And honestly politics are so interesting. We don't really touch politics in law, unfortunately, but when the areas touch it creates some very interesting interactions and I think that's one of the aspects I really enjoy in law.

yeah fair and some areas of law are also just awfully boring in my opinion like idk tax law or smth 
ive taken like a .. fundamentals of law course and international law ,, next block im doing european law

yeahh fr like im doing international politics right now and seeing like overlap with international law is very cool

ya me neither b4 my course n it's just really nice to get some non european/ white/ typical western canonical works of literature under my belt n the diff perspectives n everything r just so nice to finally b introduced to but yeah lots of crying while reading for postcolonial classes lmao vry brutal material

nnnn have vry few assignments in general, we just read our asses off, solid 500-700 pages a week on average
like last semester the only thing I had to write was 1 uh exam paper thingie n this semester i only have 1 written exam again, its in my epics class
postcolonial exam is gonna b like come in, get a question, 30 mins preparation time n then oral presentation of whatever topic I pulled n yeah all the books we read can obvi be included
we really just like read a lot, we dont do a lotta writing anything (not yet at least???? am kinda hopin itll start soon cause am getting rusty when we only do one written exam per semester lol)
