Struggling to find work - Forum

I have been trying to find a job, but everytime I find something, they don't get back to me. I studied tourism, but I don't like it anymore since my 2 internships (where I did work afterwards) just made me depressed, because hospitality is shit.

I really don't know what to do, because my mom has been stalking me about finding a job, spamming me with job offers (which are exactly ones I already told her I really don't want).
She keeps telling me that I'm picky, but I don't want to work somewhere where they don't respect me and what will make me depressed (when I think back to my last jobs, on my days off, the only thing I could do was sleep. Was considered lazy, but I worked 50h a week).

Tbh never expected to live as long as I do now, which makes things harder ig.

if it's any consolation, i never expected living past 18 either, but i love my life more than i did before

things will improve i promise, or at least youll get used to it better than u do now

I'm 20 now, and for as long as I can remember, I never thought I would get much older.

I hope it will get better. But I also am stuck because of not having a job, or friends.

be careful of isolation. sure it's better to be alone than to mix with bad ppl but friendships are rlly importan

hope you find a job that's comfortable and or pays well

I hope so

find a new friends (while also contacting ur current friends), easier said than done but it will help alot. if u don't really want a new friend/group u can volunteer or do social activites where u can chit chat without the obligations of a friendship
