I remember drinking wine at a bar and the next thing I know I wake up in the intensive care in the hospital. Appariently I had been stumbling in the road in traffic so the police took me to the emergency addiction place. There I had thrown up multiple time. I was given oxygen and then they couldn’t get me to wake up so I had to go to the hospital they called for a prio 1 ambulance. I’m struggling to stay sober but I have to because I’m going to move into a service home and they don’t allow drinking. I almost lost my place but I convinced them it was only a one time thing. I’m going to an AA meeting tonight

it is good that u r recognising that u need this and doing it. i think u should be proud of yourself for this, it takes courage to receive help imo. i'm glad u have found a place that feels good and important too.
