i remember the whole debacle when designers first started changing/editing the base and users crying over items not being pixel perfect instead of getting creative

meanwhile gaia just got layer collision removed by total accident like 2-3 years ago and everyone's rejoicing that they can finally stack hairs

solovey is gone??? man i can't believe i missed that, i know when i was still active it would have been like a tactical nuke

but yeah, this was also back when rowan was just starting to design stuff so i imagine the negative reaction was less 'omg why is the base changed' and more 'omg why is this new designer allowed to change the base'

yes!! like their designs are amazing but also rowan in general was an absolute sweetheart, one of the first profiles i checked when i logged in :,)
