but yeah, this was also back when rowan was just starting to design stuff so i imagine the negative reaction was less 'omg why is the base changed' and more 'omg why is this new designer allowed to change the base'

yes!! like their designs are amazing but also rowan in general was an absolute sweetheart, one of the first profiles i checked when i logged in :,)
