typically i request to work christmas eve because we would visit family on the evening for a buffet style dinner and sing-song. christmas day would be me and my immediate family at home listening to christmas music, having a roast dinner, then going to my bedroom to play video games (the norm lol) - though our family dinner table has gotten smaller since my sister and her partner left home a year and a half ago with her 3 (now 4) kids. on day after christmas i would usually be off work and have a day of sleeping / gaming then spending the late afternoon with family. 

this year will be different for me, now i have my boyfriend to stay with me, and having to visit his family. plus my working days are different (beyond my control) but im hoping that everything will fall into place very soon!

the last couple of years weve also been going to the cathedral before dinner to laugh at swedish jesus and take selfies with wax mary. I dont know why were doing this my family is not religious.

But after years of not enjoying this holiday, tomorrow I get to celebrate it again and I... have no clue what it's going to look like but I am so happy and looking forward to it, I got some funky earrings and going to do my makeup, bake gingerbread cookies and make a tree of them.
