fr but it served one purpose, the (indirect) creation of nickelodeon's avatar studio. i am so so ready for the animated movies and the next avatar, so i can live with netflix's parody version of atla somewhat

i hope the next avatar will follow the theory of looking like the past avatar's lover so  we can get someone looking like asami

hmm i am not super well versed on the ins and outs of the bts stuff,,, if this is what is giving us the new animated movie n more content i will accept this remake.... but its still on thin ice

that would be slayful....

it was mentioned that aspects of atla are displayed in a more serious and deep manner. one example given was sokka and the pressure he was under carrying the responsibility of the sole man/boy protecting his tribe. in the animated show it's there as well, but apparently the la takes it to another level.

another point mentioned was the censoring. atla is still  a kids show at the end of the day, thus having to be vague about certain points e.g. jet's death. the la carries no such restrictions, at least not in that degree. the example given was it was explained and shown much more what evil the fire nation actually did (but giving zuko a realistic scare was too much okay )
