I personally didn't get to use it, my friend did however and we both tried different methods at the same time, she bought this IPL thing from a pharmacy and I went for actual laser treatments with a professional lady,
the treatments I got were more permanent.
and my friend said that while for her it was not gone, even though it has been so long, it got reduced but didn't work as well as it should've because her hair is not the darkest.

IPL is not a laser treatment, it's light that is pulsing intensely, hence, Intense pulse light
I'd also say that you should take into consideration that you'd HAVE to be consistent with it to see actual good results, you should have hair dark enough and skin that is fair, otherwise, if the contrast isn't there well, you accidentally can burn yourself
Also, a device that has a plug to the wall, otherwise I don't believe it's strong enough?
I can ask my friend what device she use exactly, I think she got like 2 or 3 devices

So she bought 2 expensive ones and one that was cheap but rlly bad and it burned her so she never touched it again
One is called kenzzi and the other one is Ulike, specifically a pink air3
I remembered that I wanted to get the second one myself since it's is not just for hair removal but also other things on the skin but that one is expensive as hell

what kind of hair does she have then, is she blonde? my hair is dark enough and my skin is fair so i think its the ideal targeting for these machines as ive heard it works worse on lighthaired individuals
and i for sure thought ipl was laser  the more u know

The second one she still uses today
dunno about the kenzzi one but I saw her use the other one, it can be plugged from one side of the device, like this

idk about the origin of the brands, friend is not from the UK and I have 0 clue what's the market for those devices in Israel but from what I managed to gather, look for something with specifications that might be similar to this device? power wise, wavelength, and the energy output

regarding colours for skin n hair
this is a table showing more or less whats good and what isn't
I'm medium white I'd say, but a bit lighter and more yellowish, and my hair is black,
my friend is pale and her hair is lighter than brown, not by much though

yeah ahaha hence why I said fuck it and went for actual laser treatment

hmmmm I had 10 sessions paid for and 1 additional for free?
it was 4 areas only though, armpits, full legs, full arms and pubic area, I didn't finish all the treatments but even without all of them, it worked wonders for me, I used to be hairier but now it is much much less, I used to think the same but I found a fellow Russian lady that helped me with any uncomfortable moments I had or questions, and I had a total of 7 treatments

it cost me like around 1k eur for all those areas but it was a promotion cost for a holiday and you bet your ass that once I get a job again or my husband settles down with his job I am getting a package like that again, and maybe in the future will buy an IPL for myself for any veins I have on legs mainly and any stray hairs that laser might miss

yes, I got fully naked sometimes doing that laser

yes it was uncomfy at first but got rlly easy with time

it was rlly bad going back home sometimes cus the gel used gets sticky as hell and you cannot shower for a few hours but if it's close to home it must be better, I either took a bus or a motorcycle
but worth it

imma go look with friend now
