i would not have realized how shitty that relationship was without yall and i really needed to hear the things you were saying to me. i know it must have been super frustrating that i wouldnt listen but the message was getting through to me and i did leave him eventually. (about 2 and a half years ago actually yay!) i'm so relieved that he's out of my life
i love myself a lot more now and i'm doing a lot better, struggling of course but i'm healing and doing the work yknow. i have a wonderful person in my life now who truly cares about me and honors my boundaries. he makes me feel safe and i get to laugh with him a lot, i just feel like he actually sees me and embraces me as a person and that's so precious
