When they turn 12-13 they wont longer be allowed to go to school because they might be influenced by the outsiders and they need to be home to take care of things. 



They are also having parties and so on to see if a boy is interested in their daughter and see of they find a partner. They are marrying young and then the girls repeats the circle. They are being brainwashed from a young age to do be the perfect little housekeeper. The boys are often immature and they cant read or write. Its a woman's job to cook and clean, i dont care if they spoil their wife's and daughters with gifts.  Everyone deserves a good childhood and going to school. This is not love, this is about being owned.

Im grateful for my dad being there for me and not seeing me as a housekeeper when in their age.

There are a big type of stereotypes yes, but that dont mean its happening today.
There are also different types of travelers and the ones that is loud is the ones being seen and heard and that will add to the negative stereotype. Many also have a hard time to change the culture set that is being taught in generations.

I feel for the children, i dont care what group or religion it is. If the adults wants to live a certain way, fine but leave the kids out of it. How can the young boys become good fathers and such if they can do almost what ever they want when they are kids and not respect boundaries?

That movie is funny, is there a second movie or did i dream that?
I think it was more about to show of how much money they had. Ever episode when they made the dresses was bigger and bolder and such. The dresses weighs a lot and they would get bad bruises because of the weight. 16 is way to young!

I clicked on this thinking it was about My Big Fat Greek Wedding and I was about to go on about how much I love it xd 
(though the 3rd one was a little disappointing but what can you do)

I think i saw comments that the younger generation wants to change the life for their kids. In this day and economy you need some kind of education to get a good job. Being young and have trouble to read and write will make it harder for everyone. The reading and writing in schools are going down and more kids has a hard time to read and write. 

I have nothing against housewife's as long as they choose it by their own terms and after they have got a job and been working. But when young kids are being taught from the moment they can walk to be taught how to be a housewife i get mad. Let the kids be kids and learn about the world and not have a goal to be a housewife in a young age.

Its one thing to read and understand a short text on the phone but its another thing to read and understand a manual, a book,  a contract and so on.
