You can get a card, but gifts are usually (socially) frowned upon unless you really know the person

Honestly if you know others who are going ask them if they're getting a present? Then you won't be alone whether you do or don't

this probably depends on the culture bcs in germany we always gift them something but as a team D: dont like it but its kind of expected
