I'm actually feeling damn sick right now TW for talk about multiple animal deaths
So we got our lhasa apso (Lille My
) 2 years ago today, and we are in very close contact with the lady who sold her to us (Imma call her Anne). She also sold 2 other puppies, both who are now dead
One of them seemed to have a genetic bone growth disease and therefore got put down (today we found out Anne had called the vet who put her down and the vet admitted they did put her down too fast and easily, as it was actually not clear what the diagnosis of the dog actually was)
The other one got put down after the owner found out her sibling got put down. All we know is that the dog didn't seem to be in any discomfort (Anne visited the dogs a lot when they were young and did not see any signs), but she did bad in competitions and if her sister apparently had a bone growth disease gene in her, she couldn't be used to get puppies. We don't know more than that bcus fuck if I know if she damn PAID the vet to shut up, bcus the vet refuses to answer any questions about it.
And today, poor Anne, finds out this lady has done the same thing with THREE other dogs? One right before the lhasa apso, the lhasa apso, a chihuahua and a shih tzu. In the last TWO years she has managed to kill FOUR dogs. All put down at the vet, all placing bad in competitions. They've ALL been used as competition dogs.
It's absolutely so disgusting. Even when Anne found out about the whole gene thing, she offered to buy the puppy back bcus she still views them as her babies and would do the best for the dog. But no! The lady went ahead and just killed her. Most likely for insurance money, seeing how she keeps killing off her dogs. They don't win in competitions, so kill them off, get money, buy a new one and repeat.
So Anne is sitting now after finding out about this, calling every animal insurance company she can find to inform them about this lady in case there's something shady. And posting in every dog community warning them about her.
Also researching the vet that is putting these dogs down. All the sellers have delivered over healthy dogs with good documentation and health checks. Either she mishandles her dogs so bad that they become so sick the vet deems it acceptable to put them down, or the vet gets fucking paid for this
I hope she gets somewhere and this lady gets fucked over or I might just go kill her myself it's sickening. I'm just imagining what if she had bought Lille My instead, she is not a competition dog, the lady absolutely would have put her down. Disgusting
