hmm i guess that depends on the kind of relationship u have. i'm not very traditional so i don't feel the need for a traditional proposal/wedding. i'd love to go ring shopping together, so i've just shown him stuff over the years like "i want smth like this just fyi" and he's like "ok cool" lol

yeahh i don't like the idea that the guy has to pay for the rings. i'd probably want us to go ring shopping together and split the cost of both our rings

that's a month of his salary. if he set aside he could prob buy me it in less than half a year
but still. it's too much! to put on a ring..
that's money we could put on our wedding or savings for the future. 
i've found another brand with similar designs, about the half of the price,  which i ADORE aswell.
unfortunatley i cannot remember their name now
