Also people shipping you with others can get really uncomfortable, especially with YouTubers who are just friends. I know YouTubers who don't work together much anymore because of shippers, so much so they've had to address it many times.
I think the relationships that do the best are the ones that we don't see. The YouTubers are technically there for the screen, they don't owe you their life. And I think when that gets blurred it messes things up.Â
People also degrade others as "oh your 'persons' bf/gf" and when that's all you are it can be hurtful.
