if you can afford it its really nice!
my recommendations (based on what worked for me) are:
-set a day to clean. i did sundays and told my boss i couldnt work for religious reasons (untrue but it's illegal to deny or force you to disclose your religion in the usa)

-clean one room at a time. you have to do everything by yourself. i did floors in the worst room every week, and FULLY straightened one room every week.

- sort laundry. it extends the life of your clothes and lets you do it less often. my loads were/are shirts/hoodies, pants/jeans, delicates, towels, sheets, pet. i would always run out of jeans before underwear and not having a set day meant when i was out, i was out. it wasnt put-off-able

-CHECK GROCERY ADS. my favorites for good deals are food lion(you need a phone number with them), publix, and trader joes. look for clearance and specials. buy non perishables in bulk: cereal, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.

go to goodwill for furniture. especially in/near a college town. they're a good deal, even if you have to go to the next city over. just clean it- thoroughly
this is actually super helpful thank you sm for the advice!!
