i wish i had done smth media studies related but i am doing my masters now so its too late welp

can u keep the credits of ur current study (i know my bachelor held them for a year or smth), bc u could go do a new study then and if u dont like it or think it was a mistake u can go back ?

what are you currently studying?

ive never really had a change of heart about what i am studying personally but it sounds frustrating to fall out of love with a subject

i switched my studies "too late" (1 and a half year after is tarted studying) so the government cut my school funding n then my life spiralled downwards .... but i did enjoy art history way more than english linguistics (very boring, wanted to kms)

yes, and no,, i dropped out of translation studies my final semester but it was more due to mental health n struggles with writing thesis than having a change of heart, though i did also have a slight realization that it wasn't something i wanted to do long term which made it easier to drop, n then around that time / a while after (like my dropping out took almost a year because i postponed my thesis for the next semester and then didnt do it then either) i did find what i wanted to do n i know this is the right ppath now cos i even if im struggling more with it i still want to complete these studies. And i dont regret dropping translation one bit tbh, i know i can always go back and write my thesis in english or linguistics or whatever if i want to, which ig is one of the good things with studying in scandinavia like its never too late to go back to it, but rn i simply dont want to.

that being said, you could also finish the last year of library science and then do fashion or art after, it sucks if ur super burnt out to keep at it, but like its a good reminder that u can do smth else after u dont have to go on n work with ur degree right away.

idk if id call it a change of heart exactly, my heart wasnt in it from the start both times i tried studying, i was pushed into it and didnt resist cuz postponing having to deal with the fact that i have no plan or direction in life was the easy route i guess
im currently thinking of going back to study cuz im more ready for it now, but im still super conflicted abt what and stressed abt how little time i have left to think

started off doing a bachelors in mathematics. i was young and undecided so i did it for one year then i switched to psychology. i graduated last november but now i wanna go back to school and study pharmacy lol. i feel really limited with psychology and i dont wanna do a masters + 2  or more years of supervision + get a phd just to earn money so im looking at other options. it actually took a lot of thinking to decide whether i want to go back to school or not but im the youngest ill ever be right now so why not you know?
