do something small that you enjoy - make a coffee, watch a series, read, play video games, gardening - whatever you want but that is like "resting you mind".  small things! and listen to your body, if your body need to lay down after a hard shift then you lay down! and don't pressure yourself. the energy will change from day to day, do what you can based on that day!

i've read a lot of books about the body, food and energy. if you're tired a lot then maybe you should check what your eating - sugar is one energy thief and also not eating enough long carbohydrates, drinking too much caffeine and not enough water.

exercise i also very important to gain energy, but for me, i usually do that in the weekends/days off because i'm dead after a work day
