i appreciate that they wanted to experiment with stuff and play around... they kinda failed a lot
but it's a vibe and i think it's worth others knowing of it's existence
(and i really wanted to keep ranting about ds era childhood games) even though i only found this game a couple years ago, bless it's little soul

the story is pretty classic (help harvest sprites pretty much only you can see balance nature before disaster strikes the island), the interesting twist what *you* are in the midst of this...
there's farming, gathering, mining, npc interaction (there's no romance though, which is pro/con), animal husbandry (allegedly), quests, new tech to unlock, etc.
The story/characters feel a little less developed than the other games, which is why probably in part it feels more like a project to play around with than a full game as compared to their games that are peak (RF series, some HM games) but, like i said, it's a vibe that i'm glad i tried
(i haven't finished it yet b/c i'm me and i swear i can't finish any game smh...) but i got a good chunk in like maybe 75-85% storyline

sadness. maybe someday you can find a ps2/psp for good deal, they have some good games (i was never much of a ps/xbox/wii person). or i suppose ps2 is i think the easiest to get *cough* emulator software *cough* for so...
wish they'd put some of these old/indie games on steam or smth because it's only gonna get harder for people to try older/indie games
