there's other games that have paid early access things, but those are more.. actual games and not a website, so i get what you mean

i suppose we see it differently.. to me its like obviously u dont have to buy for the beta which is expected to last 4-5 months but if u would like to support the game then u can buy the beta i see it as a way for them to earn a passive income for development in preparation for the full launch
