Also my coworker ahahah bcus rn they put us short one person, we used to b 2 ppl from 11 (opening time) on weekends, but they shortened it, makin the 11 shift come at 13, so if u open at 9 u r alone until 13

Nd my coworker told my boss "if Im gonna bake I need the 13 shift to become 11 shift again or Im going on a strike"
Nd boss just left lol, no comment no reply

Its not even about if you can or cannot do it its still more work and more labor deserves more pay

Example: my mom at her office job took on more tasks during a project while they were short staffed and got the title of group leader and more pay

doesn’t matter if it’s at an office or at a pizza place, you were hired to do one thing, now they’re adding workload, you can ask for a raise

*sigh* that logic. People *CAN* survive/do most everything if they HAVE to (short term), that doesn't make it reasonable or an acceptable demand. ALSO quality of work will suffer when they don't have enough people or if everyone's frazzled all the time

they did the same thing at the hospital i worked at where they made the clean room staff do the big, several hour cleaning once a month (w/o proper protective gear, might i add, and several people felt sick after...) w/o any extra time or staff, just on top of making meds for people at the hospital that is always understaffed and hectic...

as for whether to ask for raise, i think u deserve but idk if they'd do it or be mad if u asked...

My boss can b mad all she wants but she cannot replace me she can take it or leave it
Ppl r always like "u r replacable so dont" but Im actually not, she wud crumble, she only hires school kids there's no one to take my shifts cus they all in school during those times. No one without school is applying :cry
