here are some beautiful samples that, btw, do not refer to any specific studies either bc why would they? ofc the reader will know what you mean!:

"Although both studies discuss “using AI”, Neither of them discuses de differences in using AI vs. paper in answering questions in topic from background students, This gap motivate the current study."

"Both study relies on survey and not grade. This gap is useful in our research."

"However this article is significantly important, but it lacks data, which is included in our research"

academic design and communication! we're supposed to come up with our own research question and had a whole course worth of time to think of how we could conduct our research, if this was a real experiment. at the end of the course, we're supposed to hand in a proposal and get graded based on its quality

and honestly yes, i want to do something about this, but i don't know how to prove that the other people didn't write anything  i kind of want to say something in the group chat but ehhhh i need a good grade out this course and these people are just not competent. at. all.

I would honestly still tell your professor they might know a way to prove it.

ig version control on google docs? i turned on the more detailed version of it today, but the past version already shows that me and the other person did the most + i always handed in our assignments (i waited last time for literally anyone else to do it, but no one did. meaning that they either relied on me to do it each time or just ignore the deadlines in general). i have no idea how these people passed their first year of uni, given that you need at least 42 ECs to be able to continue

idk either   this happens so often ugh. idk if people just don't care if they get terrible grades or what's the deal. but i do hope the next group i have to work with is better
