do it!! watched it on a long drive back home and was crying in the middle of the bus
it still holds up the hype as one of the best franchises to date, they just dont make movies like these no more

i didnt read the books but have also only heard positive remarks, maybe one day i'll read it as well

it was soooo long since i read the og books n those i read before the movies, ballad of songbirds n snakes was really good because you get so much more of the stuff going through Coryos head, it did become a bit of a slow read for me because i knew what would happen so i would have rather read it first and then watched but its still a book id reccomend even if you have watched it i think

i also think like its kinda interesting to compare movie n book with coryo specifically simply because the movie becomes more like we see the person he is presenting as n book becomes more we see the person he rly is, which is like the contrast is so much of what the stor is about so it becomes a rly cool comparison igg

i want to read the snow book before i watch the movie its been on my shelf for agess i just cant make myself read lately, im even more interested in the haymitch book but theres no point in buying/lending it when i havent even touched songbirds and snakes yet

i had forgotten a lot of plot points from the og hunger games until my rewatch yesterday, i might let time pass a bit and allow myself to forget the story a bit and then pick up those books  and try to read the haymitch book until november. you're right u made me remember everytime i felt joy in seeing stories and characters i already knew from books prior to watching the movie/show

i remember watching the first one in the cinema on a friends birthday and halfay thru the movie we all  had to leave the cinema because of soem drama with her aunt (who drove us there) n her parents ??? i dont quite remember but i remember being really sad that they didnt have a big budget for the movie because they probably  thought it would maybe flop and didnt wanna invest. but i knew it could hav e been really good if they invested in the franchise from the beginning.

anyways i neevr watched the other movies and i havent read the recent books. but maybe i should

I was peeta all the way. That boy took so many beating for her but bro WOULD NOT BE HONEST

Gale always kinda felt like a sellout. Their last meetings were filmed in the first one. He knew that they all did. It was shown in the tournament movies about the contestants.

He threw her to the wolves immediately saying "you know how to fight"

(Hi I am a diehard and this is a hill I would die on)

Also. Hate snow. Sunrise concrete-ed any hope ballads of Songbirds tried to scrape up for him. I hate him.

Hate both of them
