What do we think?

Workplace got this giant plant they want for someone to take home, and ever since moving to a new place I've been thinking about getting a plant since I cannot get a pet..

I don't even know what plant it is... idk if I can take it even cus it is so big and heavy...
Something tells me I should take it, I already gave it a name ,((

Any green thumbs would be able to help me identify this fella?

Also look at this cute little poster they made for this plant

I thought about monstera as well but they have so many types? or species? and how different they all are

OH! I thought the same... how much do you water it? do you do anything else to help it? I saw it at the office and she looks so sad...

i gave her away bc its toxic for my birds, but It somehow thrived even when i was neglecting it, when i was following the internet directions it's like it did worse lmao. you kind of have to find a rhythm for it

I had monstera and im not sure if i would consider them high maintance maybe somewhere in the middle? They can get sick very fast though and you gotta be careful with overwatering and mold but usually they are fine in terms of difficulty. I had one that looked similar to the leaves on the poster and it survived quite long. Had problems with space though and it got sick bcs of a water issue we had but they are really pretty

I had a monstera adansonii and deliciosa its called i think which is the most regular one out of their type. This one looks like a dried out deliciosa but on google there is a whole list of their types and maybe its easier for you to determine what it could be?

if they are as big as you it might also be a borsigiana but i think it depends on the leaf size and their hole shape

definitely a very sad monstera deliciosa
they like warmth and sun
water when soil is dry (stick finger in soil)
can also preferably spray leaves with water now n then
