i'm used to it because he's always like that, but he actually does display being able to be happy for everyone else, for me he just dissects everything till he finds something wrong (which is what he did after giving a weird congratulations)

that sounds mentally taxing, but i'm glad you're able to recognize that him acting like this has nothing to do with you or what you're capable of. probably a good instinct to ignore his messages
