Ofc when you've established the friendship in the new you should invite her at least once, otherwise it could be read as you only "Needing" her when you got nothing else, and that you don't feel close enough to include her in other activities. 

But that said, you also need to be careful of it backfiring, and her being more "included" and invited than you (if that makes sense? )..

I've been in both positions and tbf none of them are fun, but yea relationships are complicated, and annoying, but also so so giving, I'm glad to hear you're finding friendships!
