Then I wouldn't have to shave my kewchie all the time and be constantly itchy as the hairs grow back 6.07 seconds after 😢

I guess looking like a pornstar is higher on my list of priorities than being comfortable?

When I was a young teen I let my pubic hair grow out
But then in hs I overheard girls talking about shaving and they all said they shaved down there.
And I also overheard the guy who had a crush on me say to his friend that he would prefer a girl to shave.
And his friend said "I wonder if Lexi shaves"
The guy with the crush on me and his friend also made fun of my friend Coralia. They called her Gorilla cuz she had dark body hair. Not in front of her or anything but it still made me extra self conscious. That should have been a red flag but I ended up marrying him. He's come along way from the immature brat he was as a 16 year old though.
I'm sure I could tell my husband "hey I don't want to shave my pussy anymore" and he wouldn't care. Its just a preference and I prefer when he shaves too.
Just part of me wants to hold on to what the people in school and what other people say about girls who aren't perfectly hairless

As a teenager I always shaved bc the shitty men I dated INSISTED I had to. It was horrible and painful and so time consuming. Now I have a lovely husband and he does not give a fuckkk. I trim, but don’t really SHAVE shave anymore. It’s so freeing. So much less pain and I’m not constantly focused on my coochie anymore. I rlly recommend it not only as a physical comfort thing but also a mental break. Hair is natural and we live in a society that fetishizes it because women (and those assigned female at birth but identify otherwise) are expected to try to look as young as possible to be desirable. And that’s fucked up!!!!!!!

for real. I say try and see if it’s for you. If not you can just shave it again, but fr give yourself like, three weeks, a month.

Honestly im a lot more itchy when I don't shave (like 2+ weeks without shaving), but it helps a lot if I just shave every 2-3 days, and use baby oil or body lotion on the area after the shower (I don't use shaving cream or anything tho, just water) to get it less dry, no itchy

I only started shaving my legs bc I got comment on it n felt self conscious n then when I stopped it took a while feel comfortable with it again but once some time had passed it just feels normal, obvi not exact same thing but id wager not shavin for a while would eventually make the self consciousness go away
