i just remember blissfully jumping in a beautiful lake on a warm summer day and as soon i was in the water i realized there was a dead swan right under the surface. it scared and disgusted me wildly and i wanted to get away but the only way to do so was to kick with my legs which would mean i would touch the dead swan. panic, disgust, fright. suddenly it wasnt a beautiful summer day but dark and cloudy
the thought of that dead swan still makes me shiver
