i also feel like that because i draw so infrequently, but then i actually use a reference and it looks mileees better and sometimes i'm able to replicate without the reference., so i think if you're more consistent than me, , which i'm sure you are, you will get better

idk if this is gonna sound stupid, but i swear  sometimes, if i watch a tutorial or one of those instagram drawing videos constantly, it's easier for my hand to follow the same technique when i try it...like if i don't see the technique happening, it doesn't exist to my brain or something and it's harder for my hand to do it
