i got a guinea pig as a teen, back in 2016, as a kind of spur of the moment thing, which obviously wasnt smart
as much as i loved those piggies, i regret getting them only because i didnt give them the life they deserved
i had depression pretty bad and didnt always keep up with their enclosure, and it was hard to keep up with their foods and such, and being a dumb inexperienced teen i didnt do enough research before getting them
i tried my best, but they still deserved better
but they were so sweet and pudgy, and they taught me life lessons, such as the fact that carrots have cores (they only ate around the 'core' of the carrot, leaving a little thin strand)
