I currently have a burn in the shape of an iron on my arm because I was distracted and low key pissed at my dad because he kept closing my mom's wardrobe (several times!!!) while I was doing her laundry bc she's in the hospital

Does anyone have tips or ....?

The skin is really dry and itchy so probably not a bad idea!

if you have any aloe vera that could be good! or just stick to things non-irritating, non-scented, etc...!

treat it like a sunburn,
aloe helps, dont scratch, use sensitive lotion on it (like a face lotion)
ibuprofen will keep swelling and redness down

God, the day of my graduation I straight up set down a curling iron on my thigh cuz I was so tired... For immediate burn care run under cold-ish water / keep a wet cloth on it. Aloe Vera gel will be your bestie, I personally love the one from Holika Holika (but I use that as my facial moisturiser anyway, so I always have it lmao).

Long term (when it has healed/is no longer a straight-up wound) I'd recommend Bio-Oil for scarring and additionally u can get a derma roller (no longer than 0,3mm) to help get rid of scarring (if that's what u want)
