99% of alternative medicine asks for more money than they’re worth and often discourage people from seeking the actual care they need, and some of them come with additional risks to the persons health beyond neglecting their actual condition.  I’m all for reaping the placebo effect of especially non invasive spiritual treatments, but it’s not rly enough to justify taking advantage of sick and desperate people and doesn’t rly help sylvans situation

It's probably because our health care system is so bad and doctors don't take you seriously and you have to fight so much to get like basic care.
